On stage was our CEO Martin Nordh, covering intelligence as a method to unlock real value in the risk-based approach. Intelligence is used more and more extensively in larger financial institutions, especially in certain markets as a way to drive and demonstrate effective outcomes.
Martin also had the pleasure to participate in a panel with Gabriella Bussien at Trapets and Robin Lycka at Strise, expertly moderated by Sebastian Nordli from Frank Penny. They discussed the advantages and limitations of AI (even though it’s not really an intelligence as such) and came to the conclusion that a general large language model is not the silver bullet that’ll save us all from financial crime.
Also on stage were Fredrik Tidqvist at Swedbank, who elaborated around the Swedish JIMLIT equivalent SAMLIT and how they deploy intelligence across various parts of the control framework, Ronny Gustavsson (Advisense), Jörgen Holmlund (Försvarshögskolan), Lena Palmklint (Swedish National Police FIU) and more.
